Waipu Cove racing falls over Auckland's Anniversary long weekend, so this year we have packed 2 race days into the weekend.

On the Saturday boats race the first of the national endurance races which consists of a 100km circuit style race. Spectators will be able to watch boats from the shore as they race at over 80km/hour around a circuit.

On the Sunday, boats are back into surfcross racing (circuit style racing through the shore break). Waipu Cove is a beautiful beach so be sure to spend your long weekend catching some high speed boat racing.
