Team Profiles

Just finished our second full season with this boat and as full time driver. Neil previously shared a boat with Darren of Crashpad fame. The 2009 national session was a mixed summer - did well in the big surf at Raglan, wrecked a rebuilt engine in Wellington, came second in the King of the Cape long haul. Did ok everywhere else. Had a good time all of the time. The Spaceships team also had a chance at competing as part of the NZ team in the Trans-Tasman 2009 series.

Neil Geddes

This is my 4th session racing. I live and play in Auckland as a Travel Company Director. I'm an old bastard who can't run and jams the throttle open. I love buses, Spaceships and the colour orange. I race thundercats because I enjoy going to the beach with my mates.

Taxi Hudson

This is my 2nd session. I'm an Operations Manger from Auckland. I'm learning rule number one - don't let go. Runs almost well enough to make up for Neil. Looking for a new girlfriend or three after a few issues over the summer season. I race thundercats because if I don't then I will do nothing else but drink otherwise.
