Team Profiles

Started racing in 2006 with the old Signtec Gemini hull and Yamaha motor for one season. Currently racing an Aquarius hull with a tohatsu motor which has been through a fair amount of boat names... Quicken, 02 Move and now Ur Mama. We were 2nd in the 2006 club series. High throughout the years have been racing in the 2009 Trans Tasman against the Aussies. Lows would have to be damages to the boat and our bodies.

Zane Randle

Co-Piloted for one season with Zee Coffee and have been driving our current boat for 4 seasons. 27 years old. Lives in Howick, Auckland and works as a diesel mechanic. Other interests when not thundercat racing include wakeboarding and snowboarding. Zane believes he races thundercats because he loves the water and petrol and competitive sports.

Anthony Coombes

Foreman of BMW auto refinishers based in Auckland. Has been a co-pilot of our boat for 4 seasons. 29 years old. Lives in Howick, Auckland. Chills out by playing golf and going fishing.
