Team Profiles

6th in nationals, 3rd in long haul and 5th in club points. After appearing for the first time in Taranaki, Darren aka Jimmy secured Perrin aka The Kid (a shy up and coming co-pilot). These two showed huge potential to become a winning crew and dazzled the crowd with aerial antics. Jimmy and the kid have raced as a team for 2 seasons now, much improved version from there first year. These two are definitely a crew to watch! Hightlights in the 2009/10 season include flipping only twice, staying upright has been our focus and it worked, however it cost us 1st place in the Cape Reianga long haul after flipping 5 km from the finish after 3 hours of racing! We need a new haul... its been dragged on the road at 100km and punctured 12 times but the red rocket still handles like a dream. Highlight has gotta be going to beaches over summer with ya mates playing in the surf.
