Team Profiles

Running a Ceaser F7/Yamaha package again for their 2nd season. This year Wayne has teamed up with Derek (former driver of 8 & 9 ball) and combined resources giving them a better range of props etc. They first raced together at the festival of speed in Whitianga with good results, then Winter thunder in Taupo and managed to finish 2nd. This year's club days have been trying for them with a few niggling issues, hopefully they are sorted now and can relax going into the Nationals

Wayne Maddock and Regan Viall

Wayne Maddock - I'm formally known as a "Westie" who is professionally unemployed (just a short term thing), this is my 2nd season driving and I'm looking to improve on last years results, I use racing as a excuse to have a few to many colds afterwards with the other teams. Regan Viall - A builder by trade, living in the deeps of South Auckland. This is my 3rd session with thundercats, being the driver all three times. Other interests are fishing, boating and diving.

Bob Vernon

I'm 22 years old from Ramarama. I work during the week as an earthmoving contractor and enjoy thundercat racing in the weekends. This is my 2nd session in a boat with my first experiencing being at Raglan at the front of the Hell's Pizza boat. I race thundercats because I need to beat my brother (who is on the front of the blackpepper boat).
