Team Profiles

Running a Ceaser F7/Yamaha package again for their 2nd season. This year Wayne has teamed up with Derek (former driver of 8 & 9 ball) and combined resources giving them a better range of props etc. They first raced together at the festival of speed in Whitianga with good results, then Winter thunder in Taupo and managed to finish 2nd. This year's club days have been trying for them with a few niggling issues, hopefully they are sorted now and can relax going into the Nationals

Wayne Maddock

I'm formally known as a "Westie" who is professionally unemployed (just a short term thing), this is my 2nd season driving and I'm looking to improve on last years results, I use racing as a excuse to have a few to many colds afterwards with the other teams.

Derek "Buzz Buzz" Gold

I hail all the way from South Africa originally and I now reside in Otahuhu and work as a electrician. Last season I was the driver of the 8 & 9 ball boat for my rookie season. Earlier this year I fell and hit my head which made me a little crazy. As a result this has worked out that I'm now stupid enough to sit up the front of the boat and be co-pilot. My ability to move quickly around the boat and read the waves will be vital in keeping the boat up the right way this year.
